Yesterday was a fun day. First I picked up my press pass for the LA Film Festival, going on now at LA Live downtown. It's a huge film festival, with something for everyone, and tickets and more information are available at lafilmfest.com.
Then I went to the opening night of the Hollywood Fringe Festival, with lots of up and coming talent doing their thing all around Hollywood. Last night I saw Jennifer Jasper in her solo show she wrote and performs, I Can Hear You ... But I'm Not Listening. This delightful, candid show talks about her experiences growing up with four sisters. It's funny, touching and very nicely performed. For more information at the Hollywood Fringe Festival visit hollywoodfringe.org. It continues through June 29, get out and support your local artists! You'll be very glad you did.
